Seychelles Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

The goal of the Seychelles SPCA is to prevent cruelty to animals in Seychelles and promote good welfare and responsible animal ownership.

The greatest achievement of the SSPCA is the success of the low-cost sterilization programme to prevent unwanted litters of puppies and kittens. Surgery to neuter dogs and cats is carried out on Tuesdays and Thursdays and must be booked in advance. We ask clients for 150 rupees per animal to cover costs of drugs.

The SSPCA also carries out rehoming of unwanted pets and strays of good temperament whenever possible. Unfortunately the SSPCA does not yet have shelter facilities.

If you are witness to animal cruelty please contact the SSPCA on 4611004

Help reduce the stray population in Seychelles, sterilize your dogs and cats!

The SSPCA vets will sterilize dogs and cats from the age of 6 months however it is advisable to book long before this as waiting lists are long!
